Not as such. I know there's a little crawlspace under there, but that's about it. You need to get under it?

Oh, okay. Well, come outside. There's an entry way outside in the guttering. Though it is pretty tight in there. [Just warning ahead of time. She backs out and heads for the door.]

[Noted. Don follows Nami to the crawlspace entry. It does look small, but he's not about to let that stop him.]

[Nami unlatches the bit of sideboard that leads underneath the cottage. There's enough height in there for an average human being to crawl, so Don may be a little uncomfortable in there. But at least the crawlspace is pretty wide.]

[Ninja-crawling is go. It's not easy, but with determination and maybe a little surreptitious digging, Don manages to get himself down to where the pipes are.]

Mm. It looks like your pipes are sunk into groundwater - a well, essentially - but no one installed a pump to force the water up into the house. [He starts crawling back out.] You'll want a water heater, too.

[It's a few days later! At the expense of some amount of personal discomfort, Don has managed to install a pump and a heater in Nami's crawlspace. Before he closes up the wall, a little test drive in the bathroom.]

I wouldn't mind at all! [Never has running water been something so looked forward to. She tries the cold tap on the little sink first, just to make sure the water is running. If it is, she'll beam widely and turn the hot tap on soon after.]
